Album Of The Week:

 Had to go to a mixtape this week. "2 Weeks Notice" by Blood Type

First of all, don't let all the incredible features and production credits overshadow the fact that Blood Type really put in work on this tape. I was absolutely shocked to see these guys as I walked through the doors at the SXSW Smokers Club show last weekend, and wish they had more stage time. This tape quantifies the fact that the Miami duo is a breath of fresh air to hip-hop right now. Enjoy the wholesome subject matter, and the great story telling ability they use to enhance their rhymes. If i've said it once, i've said it a thousand times...you can't beat music you can relate to.
